Hytera, a World leading solution provider of Professional Mobile Radio communications, improved the radio infrastructure of Würzburg Tramway’s  with the last DIB-R5 full base stations and IP-based Tetra Technology enabling data communication of tramcars and buses on top of voice communication.

The latest DIB-R5 base station which provides the software –based forwarding function centrally in the radio system has made a fail-safe network in Würzburg.
